Course Outline

SSI Stress & Rescue

diver certification will enable you to recognize and appropriately deal with diver distress in all manner of in-water emergency scenarios. The course covers all the necessary rescue techniques for dealing with in-water diver emergencies.

Helicopter Rescue Team

Student must hold an Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification. Minimum age: 12.  Must be physically capable of completing the required skills.  Must provide proof of current training (within 2 years) of First Aid and CPR before certification.

Blue Dive

Academic sections must be completed prior to arrival via online SSI App.

In-water training includes pool sessions, beach training sessions and 

three (3)  open water training dives.  Opportunity will be given for questions on theory prior to writing of the the final exam.  

Upon completion of all academic and in-water requirements as well as the final exam (pass rate of 80%) the SSI Stress & Rescue Diver digital certification card is issued provided that proof of current First Aid and CPR training has been submitted.

Jumping off a Boat

Course price includes registration fees, required dives, instructor fees and air fills. Course price does not  include travel, gear rental, special gasses, accommodation and/or catering. For  information on accommodation click here
